Some things you didn't know about Dr. Michael Ben-Ari

Ben-Ari grew up in the Kfar Shalem neighborhood of south Tel Aviv. He studied in a Bnei Akiva yeshiva in Kfar Roeh.
Michael was among the members of a group of people who founded the Nachal outpost in Gadid (during the days of Neve Dekalim).
Ben-Ari joined the Kach movement and Rabbi Kahane while he was still a high school student, during the elections for the Tenth Knesset he was the director of election headquarters for the party in Tel Aviv.
Ben-Ari served as a tank crewman in the Armored Corps; as a result of injury suffered during reserve duty, he was released from the IDF.
Michael holds a Ph.D. in Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology and is a visiting lecturer on Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology at Ariel University.
Ben-Ari chose to have his parliamentary offices in south Tel Aviv.
In 2010 he initiated a move to deny privileges to MK Hanin Zoabi for her participation in the flotilla to Gaza (the Mavi Marmara).
